New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has issued a clarification stating it has no connection to remarks made about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a recent television debate on a Kerala channel.
In a press release, the student organization said that the individual who made the comments has "no present association" with the ABVP.
It further stated that labeling the panelist as an "ABVP leader" or "former ABVP leader" to present his opinions is "entirely inappropriate and misleading."The ABVP has requested all media groups covering the matter to refrain from using the organization's name in this context.
