Srinagar, June 17 -- Announcing that 18,000 posts have been identified for recruitment in various departments in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said financial assistance will be provided to 50,000 youth for self employment under Back to Village (B2V).

He asked officer that no work should be taken up without tenders to ensure transparency and accountability and quality, an official spokesman said in a press release.

It said riding high on the success of ambitious 'Back to Village initiative', J&K government is planning to reach out to 50,000 youth for financial assistance under the next leg of B2V program, the details of which would be finalized soon.
