Thiruvananthapuram, June 2 -- About 36 lakh students returned to their schools after a break of two months in Kerala on Monday.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the state-level school reopening celebrations at the Kalavoor Government Higher Secondary School at Kalavoor in Alappuzha District.

All educational institutions including government, aided, and unaided sectors reopened as classes began for students from class 1 to 10 for the academic year 2025-36.
