Mahbubnagar, Jan. 12 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday warned that the abolition of districts would inevitably lead to the downfall of the Indian National Congress in Telangana.

Addressing a meeting of sarpanches in Mahbubnagar town, KTR strongly condemned the Congress government's reported move to abolish districts, saying no one would tolerate such a decision. He alleged that the Congress was unable to accept decentralised administration and the delivery of development and welfare benefits at people's doorsteps, which is why it was talking about scrapping districts.
