Tokyo, May 23 -- All India Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, who is now in Japan as a part of the all-party delegation of India's outreach mission, on Friday took time out to visit the Tama Cemetery in the Japanese capital and paid tributes to freedom fighter and national hero, Rash Behari Bose.
Bose was an Indian revolutionary and freedom fighter who fought against the colonial British. He was one of the key organisers of the Ghadar Mutiny and founded the Indian Independence League. Bose also led the Indian National Army which was formed in 1942 under Mohan Singh.
