Abhishek Banerjee claims ECI lost its credibility being an impartial body

Kolkata, Aug. 18 -- Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee today came down heavily on the ECI alleging the poll panel in a media conference on Sunday parried all questions raised by the opposition and instead blamed the INDIA alliance partners.

He claimed the ECI lost its credibility to be an impartial body and working on the BJP's behalf.

"Yesterday the Election Commission did not properly answer the questions raised by the INDIA alliance, Instead the Commission deflected and tried to pin the blame on the opposition parties.
