Kolkata, Jan. 12 -- After Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee also claimed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at the residence of Pratik Jain and the office of political consultancy firm I-PAC with the sole intention of stealing the party's data.
Raising a series of questions on Monday, Abhishek alleged that the central agency had acted in a selective and motivated manner.
"Apart from Pratik Jain, there are two more directors of I-PAC. One is based in Kolkata, one in Hyderabad and another in Delhi. Why did the ED choose to conduct searches only in Kolkata?" he asked.
