Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today stated that peace is the foundation of development, tourism, and sports. However, he maintained that establishing peace is not the responsibility of his government.
Speaking to reporters after releasing a special T-shirt with a message of peace, Abdullah said his party is unfairly targeted for everything. He was responding to a reporter who quoted Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who had said "there is no complete peace.""At least there is something for which we cannot be blamed, as it is not the responsibility of my government to establish peace," Abdullah remarked.
