New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- Three newly elected councillors from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took oath during a special meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) House today.
Senior AAP leader and Leader of the Opposition in the MCD, Ankush Narang, congratulated the councillors on their victory in the recent by-elections and extended his best wishes as they began their tenure.
The councillors who took the constitutional oath include Rajan Arora from Naraina, Anil Lakra from Mundka, and Ramswaroop Kanaujia from Dakshinpuri.
Narang said the by-election results reflected a historic mandate in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party and demonstrated the trust reposed by the people in the party's vision and leadership.
