New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva today acknowledged that there has been an increase in Delhi's pollution recently, but claimed that the primary cause for the spike was not firecrackers, but the alleged increase in the stubble burning incidents across Punjab in the recent days.
Sachdeva accused the AAP government in Punjab of negligence, which he said has resulted in the crop residue burning incidents in the state.
He said that AAP leaders' statements blaming firecrackers for the pollution spike, are politically motivated, and clearly show the party's desperation.
