New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today hit out at the Narendra Modi government over its approach towards China.
AAP urged the Centre to exercise caution in its dealings with Beijing.
AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that during the recent India-Pakistan war, Pakistan had received weapons and missiles from China, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. He questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi was expressing gratitude towards China despite its continued support to Pakistan.
"If Pakistan got weapons, missiles and drones from anywhere, it was from China, Azerbaijan and Turkey. Even senior Army officials have admitted that India was fighting not just Pakistan, but Pakistan and China together," Singh said.
