New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally adopt a "swadeshi" (indigenous) lifestyle, arguing that his public message would only be credible if he leads by example.
The comments were made by AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh in response to the Prime Minister's recent emphasis on using Indian-made products.
AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal directly addressed the Prime Minister on social media platform X, stating, "You want the people to use swadeshi. You should start using swadeshi yourself." He suggested that the Prime Minister should give up the foreign aircraft and other imported luxuries he uses.
