New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a tribute gathering in Prayagraj today to honour Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who have died during the ongoing Summary Revision of the electoral roll.
AAP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, led the event.
Sanjay Singh claimed that over 25 BLOs across the country have lost their lives due to extreme work pressure and mental harassment associated with the government's voter list verification process. He described the deaths not as natural incidents, but as "murder," placing the blame on the Modi government and the Election Commission.
