New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- A Delhi court today accepted the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) closure report in a corruption case against AAP leader Satyendar Jain, bringing an end to the four-year-old investigation that found no evidence of wrongdoing.

The case, filed in 2019, had alleged irregularities in hiring professionals during Jain's tenure as Delhi's PWD Minister. The court noted the recruitment was done through open advertisements and found no procedural violations or financial losses to the exchequer.
