New Delhi, Oct. 12 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today criticized the Congress party following remarks by senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram on Operation Blue Star.

AAP leaders accused Congress of maintaining anti-Punjab policies and displaying insensitivity toward Sikh sentiments.

Manish Sisodia, AAP's Punjab in-charge, said Chidambaram's description of Operation Blue Star as a "mistake" reflects Congress's persistent disregard for Punjabi sentiments.

He also questioned the party's commitment to learning from past errors, citing Rahul Gandhi's continued association with Jagdish Tytler, allegedly linked to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
