New Delhi, Dec. 23 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today criticised Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena for writing a letter on air pollution to former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling it a political exercise at a time when the capital continues to face severe air quality levels.

AAP leaders questioned why the Lt Governor chose to write to the former chief minister instead of seeking accountability from the current Delhi government led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The party alleged that the move was aimed at shifting focus from the present administration's response to the pollution crisis.
