New Delhi, Dec. 7 -- The Aam Aadmi Party today contested Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's assertion that an artificial pond created at Vasudev Ghat for Chhath Puja contained water from the Yamuna river.
Delhi AAP President Saurabh Bharadwaj termed the claim as falsehood and "farziwada" (fakery). He challenged the Chief Minister to visit the site with him to show the public what he called the truth.
"The water in your artificial Yamuna was actually filtered water from a Water Treatment Plant," Bharadwaj claimed and stated that labourers working at the ghat were also stating the same.
