New Delhi, Nov. 23 -- The Aam Aadmi Party has raised strong objections against the construction of a 400-bed hospital in the residential area of Greater Kailash 1, framing it as a central issue for the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi by-election.

During a campaign event for the party's candidate, Eeshna Gupta, AAP's Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed that the hospital project began abruptly "the day AAP was not in government." He alleged that the construction is illegal and is proceeding with the collusion of the current BJP-led administration in the civic body and the Delhi government.
