New Delhi, April 8 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday said that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi's Standing Committee was dissolved ahead of its scheduled tenure, alleging that the move could impact governance and decision-making in the civic body.
AAP MCD co-incharge Praveen Kumar claimed that the committee, whose term was set to end on June 12, was curtailed to March 31. He alleged that this could halt the functioning of the committee, which plays a key role in approving projects, budgets, and civic works.
