New Delhi, Oct. 21 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today accused the BJP-led Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) administration of using police to break a strike by civic employees, instead of addressing their grievances.
Ankush Narang, the AAP Leader of Opposition in the MCD, levelled these allegations after a meeting with striking Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) employees. Narang claimed that officials from the Kamla Market police station, including the SHO and an ACP, were sent to the protest site to pressure the workers into ending their strike.
