New Delhi, Nov. 2 -- Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has accused the Delhi government, led by the BJP, of secretly dismantling an alleged "fake Yamuna" project at the city's Vasudev Ghat.
The accusation comes days after the conclusion of the Chhath Puja festivities.
Bharadwaj claimed that workers were removing a pipeline that his party had previously identified as an illegal connection used to supply filtered water to a specific section of the ghat, creating the appearance of a clean river for devotees.
He stated that this pipeline was tapped from a main line connected to the Wazirabad Water Treatment Plant, an act he described as illegal.
