New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- : Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday criticized the Centre for allegedly not allowing parliamentary discussion on pressing national issues, including severe air pollution in the national capital.

Speaking to the media, Singh stated that Delhi has "turned into a gas chamber" with the Air Quality Index crossing 1000, yet the government is unwilling to debate the pollution crisis in Parliament. He cited data claiming that nearly two million people die annually in India due to pollution-related causes.
