New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Central government today, criticizing it for allowing an India-Pakistan cricket match and accusing it of misleading the public about the players' conduct.
Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that the government had "betrayed the widows" of the Pahalgam terrorist attack by participating in the Asia Cup match against Pakistan. He further accused BJP leaders of propagating a "manufactured lie" that the Indian captain did not shake hands with his Pakistani counterpart.
