New Delhi, March 24 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said that a serious case involving the alleged sexual abuse of more than 30 minor girls in Goa over a period of three years has come to light, and called for stringent action against the accused.

Referring to the case, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the accused is the son of a BJP councillor and claimed that the incident points to a failure of governance and law enforcement in the state. He further alleged that such incidents have created an atmosphere of fear among residents.
