New Delhi, Dec. 10 -- : Amid the ongoing Indigo crisis, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has constituted a crisis management group to monitor the situation at airports, with senior officials deployed as part of the team.

Sources told UNI that this group will prepare a daily situation report and submit it to the Ministry of Civil Aviation. In cases where airlines are found neglecting their responsibilities in addressing passenger grievances, action will also be taken.

Based at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in the national capital, the group is in constant touch with directors of all AAI-managed airports. Instructions have been issued to ensure that problems faced by passengers are resolved on a priority basis.
