Aadhav Arjuna, Nirmal Kumar joins actor-Vijay led TVK, gets key posts

Chennai, Jan. 31 -- With the crucial Assembly elections till little over an year away, the nascent and fledgling actor-Vijay led Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) received a shot in the arm when expelled VCK leader Aadhav Arjuna and sacked BJP functionary CTR Nirmal Kumar joined the party on Friday evening.

Both Aadhav Arjuna, who is the son-in-law of Lottery King Santiago Martin, and Nirmal Kumar, who joined the main Opposition AIADMK after being sacked from the BJP, joined the TVK in the presence of Vijay at the party headquarters at suburban Panayur on the ECR.

Both of them were inducted into the TVK and were given key posts as party sources said their presence will bolster TVK's prospects in the Assembly polls.
