Lucknow, Jan. 30 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a significant decision to make the property registration process transparent, secure, and reliable.
Under the new rules, the identity of Aadhaar number holders will now be established electronically through e-KYC during document registration. Electronic signatures and Aadhaar-based e-signatures have also been included in the definition of e-execution.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Stamps and Registration (Independent Charge), Ravindra Jaiswal. He informed the press conference held at the Vidhan Bhavan about the new system of online registration of departmental documents and Aadhaar authentication.
