Hamirpur (HP), Sept. 29 -- A multi-purpose cafeteria, or rural cafe, will soon be constructed by the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in Kaihdru village of Hamirpur district, aiming to benefit both tourists and local residents.

Products made by women from the district's self-help groups (SHGs) will be available at the cafe.

Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to sample authentic Himachali cuisine at the in-house restaurant.

Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh said today that the project would cost Rs. 1.12 crore.

The district administration has already submitted a detailed proposal to the Director of the Rural Development Department.

Once approved, the facility will be set up in Kaihdru village of Dharog Panchayat....
