Nashik, Aug. 25 -- A man committed suicide along with with his five year-old girl by throwing her into Girana river basin. He also jumped into the river. However, some youths saved their lives at Tehre-Soygaon fata near Malegaon of the district yesterday. According to the police, the father threw his five-year-old daughter into the Girna river basin due to a family dispute and later jumped into the river.
However, the lives of both the father and daughter were saved by the eyewitness youth who took precautions and carried out rescue operations. The incident took place on the Girna river basin near the Tehre-Soygaon junction in Malegaon.
