Agartala, June 4 -- Police launched a massive hunt to book the culprits and a missing youth after a group of violent villagers lynched to death a driver on Tuesday, soon it met with an accident in Kalishasan Tea Garden of Kailashahar under Tripura's Unokoti district along Indo-Bangladesh border.

Police said three persons were in a private car and during a joy ride, it hit a garden worker identified as Logen Orang before crashing into a concrete drain, resulting in fractured legs and leaving him injured. Immediately after the accident, the three occupants of the car abandoned the vehicle and fled into the nearby tea bushes.
