New Delhi, March 18 -- The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has issued closure notices to 93 industrial units in the Hyderpur Redevelopment Area, in north west Delhi, after inspections revealed that they were operating without the requisite permissions.
The action underscores the Delhi government's commitment towards keeping a check on industrial pollution, and safeguarding public health across the national capital, an official said.
The department has further intensified its enforcement drive, with DPCC teams proactively identifying and acting against non-compliant and polluting industries across the city, according to the official.
