Itanagar, Oct. 27 -- The 8th edition of the MTB Tawang Challenge got off to an exciting start today with the Men Elite XCT (Cross Country Time Trial) and Junior Men XCT races showcasing intense competition among riders from across the country.
Convenor of the Arunachal Cycling Association (ACA), Pura Khongkhung, informed that more than 35 top cyclists from various states are participating in this year's edition, which aims to promote adventure sports and cycling culture in Arunachal Pradesh's scenic yet challenging mountain terrain.
In the Men Elite (XCT) category, Tsewang Norboo from Ladakh clinched the top position with an impressive timing of 43.07.540 minutes, followed by Khushiman Gharti of the Army Adventure Wing (44.24.717 minutes)...
