87 weapons, 57 ammunitions recovered in Manipur hill districts

Imphal, Sept. 18 -- In a major success, Security Forces comprising Manipur Police, AssamRifles/Army, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) has recovered 87 weapons, 57 rounds of ammunition, 23 radio sets, and other warlike stores during extensive search operations in the hill districts of Manipur.

The coordinated operations, launched over the past few days on the basis of specific intelligence inputs, were carried out simultaneously in the interior and suspected areas of Churachandpur, Chandel, and Tengnoupal districts.
