Beed, March 27 -- In a case of theft reported from Gevrai taluka in Beed district, around 80 litres of diesel was stolen from a night halt parked bus at Jategaon village, an official said on Friday. The incident came to light when the driver and conductor discovered the theft after the fuel tank lock had been broken during the night.
According to information, the bus was stationed for a night halt in front of the Yamai Devi temple in the village. At the time of the incident, driver Kakade and conductor Pawar, who were on duty, were sleeping inside the office located in the Yamai Devi Trust building nearby.
