New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has constituted eight High-Level Task Forces (HLTFs) to formulate strategies and recommendations in key sectors, including agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and connectivity in the region, the Rajya Sabha was informed on Thursday.
The HLTFs will also work in the fields of horticulture, sports promotion, tourism, handlooms and handicrafts, economic corridor development, self-reliance in animal-based essential proteins, investment promotion, and infrastructure and connectivity in the region.
