New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- The 76th Republic Day celebrations concluded with the iconic Vijay Chowk immersed in the melodies of Indian tunes during the Beating Retreat ceremony here on Wednesday.

The bands of the Army, Navy, Indian Air Force and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) played 30 foot-tapping Indian tunes before a distinguished audience, comprising President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other dignitaries and the public.
