New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- As on date, 738 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) have been allocated across the country covering 718 districts, the Rajya Sabha was informed on Wednesday.
Out of allocated PMKKs, 535 PMKKs have been already established, said Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a written reply.
Under Skill India Mission, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is implementing a flagship scheme PMKVY 2016-20 and also promotes establishment of model and aspirational skill centres known as (PMKK) in every district for imparting skill training, he said.
