Visakhapatnam, Feb. 17 -- President Droupadi Murmu will inspect a 71-ship fleet at the 'International Fleet Review (IFR)-MILAN 2026' off Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. The fleet is one of the biggest maritime gatherings India has ever hosted.

Giving the details, the Naval spokesperson said that as Presidential Yacht and the head of the ceremonial column at the Review Anchorage Area, the President will board the locally constructed Naval Offshore Patrol Vessel, INS Sumedha.

The fleet, which will be organised in six columns, will include a mix of vessels comprising of 45 ships from the Indian Navy, 19 friendly foreign warships, Indian Coast Guard ships, merchant ships, and research ships. The display will also include flypasts and aerial forma...
