Hyderabad, Jan. 26 -- The 71th Republic Day Celebrations were held in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA)with big fanfare here on Sunday.
Director of the Academy, Atul Karwal unfurled the National Flag and the ceremonial Republic Day Parade was commanded by Ms Ajeetha Begum, Assistant Director.
Addressing IPS probationers on the occasion, Karwal exhorted the IPS Probationers of 72 RR to commit themselves to the Constitutional ideals, adhere to the principle of equality and establish Rule of Law in its true spirit.
On the Occasion, Academy Director has been awarded Police Medal for Gallantry for his role in Counter Terrorism Operations in J&K while serving as IG CRPF, Kashmir.
