Amethi (UP), March 4 -- What is usually a day of celebration turned into one of sorrow in Amethi district, where seven people lost their lives in separate incidents on Holi.
The fatalities were reported in cases of road accidents, electrocution, suspected suicide, poisoning, and drowning. Additionally, 11 others were injured in unrelated incidents in the Musafirkhana and Gauriganj areas.
Raj Bahadur (60), a resident of Kaithagaon Dhirapur in Inhauna, died after being hit by a car that went out of control on the Lucknow-Sultanpur Highway.
