7 BJP workers injured in an attack in Tripura village during PM's Mann Ki Baat

Agartala, July 27 -- At least seven BJP workers were injured in a violent attack at Taksapara village in Khowai district today, allegedly by its ally TIPRA Motha during PM's Mann Ki Baat program.

The attackers used sharp weapons, sticks, and bricks in the assault. Several vehicles, including bikes and cars, were vandalized in the violence. All the injured were shifted to Khowai district hospital.

The attackers not only assaulted the BJP supporters but also attempted to lock them inside the house while Mann Ki Baat was being played.
