Ranchi, Feb. 28 -- The sixth state-level meet of District Legal Services Authorities of Jharkhand commenced on Saturday at Shaurya Sabhagar, Doranda, under the aegis of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority.
The programme was inaugurated by Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Justice Ananda Sen, Justice A.K. Chaudhary and Justice Ambuj Nath.
Project Bal Suraksha was launched and a compilation of schemes and projects of NALSA and JHALSA was released. Members of the JHALSA workforce and Para Legal Volunteers were felicitated, and victim compensation cheques were distributed.
Twenty-four 'Nyaya Rath' vehicles were flagged off to strengthen outreach and legal aid services across the state.
