Patna, May 8 -- Keeping in view the rising power demand, industrial growth, agricultural development, and increasing requirements of domestic consumers in North Bihar, the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL) has approved the construction of 68 new power substations.
Official sources said here on Thursday that the establishment of these substations will significantly enhance electricity supply capacity, ensuring more reliable, balanced, and quality power services for consumers.
The sources said that out of the 68 new power substations under this project, 30 substations have been approved under the Government of India's RDSS (Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme). The construction work has been approved at Rs 347 crore.
