Nagpur, Dec. 9 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today informed the Maharashtra Assembly that the state government has established 65 hostels across the state to support OBC students.

During a question-answer session, he further informed that in districts where space is still limited, the government is seeking locations with the help of the Revenue Department. In certain areas, following a hike in PWD rates, hostels will be set up on rented premises.

The CM also praised the efforts of OBC Welfare minister Atul Save and the department, assuring that he would personally intervene to secure additional spaces.
