Agartala, May 2 -- Police arrested a 62-year-old man in Tripura's Sepahijala district for the alleged murder of his granddaughter in the Chandanmura area of Sonamura, along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

During questioning, the suspect admitted his actions and recounted the events leading up to the crime, prompting the police to continue their investigation.
