Bhubaneswar, March 9 -- In a significant effort to improve passenger amenities and operational capacity, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has launched an extensive infrastructure upgradation project at Puri Railway Station.
The renovation work includes the construction of ballastless tracks in the station yard and the enhancement of Platforms No. 7 and 8.
These important improvements aim to strengthen both safety and efficiency at one of Odisha's busiest railway stations.
To facilitate these developments, six trains will be temporarily cancelled between March 14, 2026, and May 16, 2026.
