Ongole, May 23 -- Six people were killed and two were injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Tadicharlamotu village of Komarolu mandal in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

The police said eight members of a family went to Mahanandi temple located in Nandyal district. When they were going back to their native village Stuvartpuram in Bapatla district, their car collided with a lorry killing six people. Two children were injured in the incident.

The deceased were identified as Gajjala Anakalu (50), Gajjala Narasimha (20), Batcha Sandeep (30), Gajjala Bhavani (20), Gajjala Babulu (29) and Karredula Divakar (30). The injured five-years-old Gajjala Siri and three-years-old Gajjala Siddardha were a...
