Korba, July 2 -- Six people were injured when a passenger bus collided with a trailer parked on the roadside in Chhattisgarh's Korba district on Wednesday, police said.
He said that there were about 30 passengers in the bus going from Garhwa to Raipur. In the accident, a passenger sitting on the front seat of the bus got stuck and was taken out with the help of a gas cutter by the police and local people.
The injured have been admitted to the Community Health Center Podi-Uporda. The condition of two of the injured is said to be critical.
After the accident, the driver abandoned the bus and fled from the spot. The bus owner arranged for another bus and the rest of the passengers were sent to their destination.
