Kottayam, Aug. 8 -- In a first-of-its-kind religious initiative, 6,800 Sunday school students, teachers, and parents from the Kottayam Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church are set to make history by handwriting the entire Bible together. The massive effort is part of the post-centenary golden jubilee celebrations of the Diocese, and is being spearheaded by the diocesan Sunday School Movement. Following 40 days of spiritual preparation, the collective transcription will take place on Sunday, immediately after the Holy Qurbana.
