Chennai, Oct. 10 -- Fifty nine pilots drawn from the four Defence Forces, including a few officers from friendly foreign countries, graduated as Qualified Flying Instructors from the Flying Instructors School (FIS), Indian Air Force Station at Tambaram in Chennai.
They were from the 159th Qualified Flying Instructors' Course (QFIC).
The ceremony marking the culmination of 22 weeks of rigorous training for the officers was held last night at the institute,a Defence release said today.
The officers were from the Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian Coast Guard and friendly foreign countries.
